Welcome to my blog for Ocean Games. Growing up between the 70s and 80s my childhood was filled with outdoor games and adventure that lasted from sunup to sundown. It seems that today, our hectic lives,  small yards, plethora of organised activities and general focus on indoor entertainment, namely technology, has meant children are growing up without the joy of imaginative outdoor activities.  The one exception to this is our holidays.

 

It's these occasions when out kids run free, make their own fun and spend more time outside then inside.  My blog is a look back at the fun of my childhood, as well as a range of activties and games in an attempt to fight for the joy of outdoor, imaginative and creative play today.
